2017 TASF Summer Internship in Taiwan

Opportunity for 5 TASF Scholars to Intern in Taiwan

The Taiwanese American Scholarship Fund (TASF) has partnered with the Taiwan Ministry of Education to make the National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) Crouching Tigers Program available to TASF scholars.

The Crouching Tigers Program is a six-week internship designed to prepare students for their professional career goals while gaining unique work experience in Taiwan. The internship program is available to FIVE (past or current) TASF scholars who are at least in his or her 2nd year of college. Internships will take place with the Taiwan Government at the Southern Taiwan Science Park.

Deadline: Wednesday, March 29, 2017

Eligibility:
  • Must be a past or current TASF scholar recipient and be in his or her current sophomore, junior or senior year of college
  • Have a valid US Passport (must provide a copy of US passport with application)
Program Details:
  • Internship Period: late June – August 2017
  • Round-trip airfare, room and board will be provided by the Taiwan Ministry of Education

Scholars who accept the internship are expected to complete the program in Taiwan. Should the scholar change his/her mind after accepting the internship and travel arrangements have been booked, he/she will be responsible for refunding TASF for the roundtrip airfare to Taiwan.
